How to understand some expressions in English

Confira:

"Hi guys,
Today I'm gonna explain some common expressions in English so next time you watch a movie you'll understand it better.
  • twenty-four seven - 24/7 = this expression means that you can't live without doing something very particular for example: I study English 24/7.
  • I'm broke = it means that you don't have money, you are running without money.
  • Take it easy = it means that you have to relax, don't worry too much.
  • Shame on you = it means that you did something very stupid, something that you shouldn't have done. For example: you get late in a meeting and people say: Shame on you!
  • Sleep on it = it means that you need to think better about a subject.
  • Get the ball rolling = it means that you accept to do something right away.
  • Didn't fly = it means that something didn't work.
  • Piece of cake = it means that something is really easy to do.
Hope you guys like it and keep on practicing your English, remember if you put some effort good things are going to happen!"
