Prof. Valdemar ajuda aluna a traduzir texto

Logo após a aula de Filosofia, a aluna Alecsia (1ªEM) solicitou a ajuda do professor de inglês para traduzir o texto que acabara de produzir. O texto fala do nascimento da Democracia e faz uma comparação com o que acontece hoje. Segundo a análise do professor, “Um texto muito bom, com pequenos erros, vocabulário adequado e boa argumentação, considero um excelente exercício traduzir do português para o inglês”, acrescenta o teacher! How Cities Were Formed?

Since the emergency of human being, everything needed an organization. In the early times this wasn’t very necessary, however all changed when the number of people started increasing and they didn’t need to stay walking around the world so they got stuck in one place.

This new group gave rise to cities in this time called Polis. In this time the organization was mainly for a great political and social development.

A good example of it is the ancient Greece city, the Helade. In an aristocracy system of organization. This Polis didn’t work. Folks took the power from King’s hand. They installed Democracy, where would exist a leader. But the power was on people’s hand, idea that came from a rational thinking, starting this philosophy.

Compared with nowadays, we can say this real idea of democracy was misrepresented throughout the years. Now these folks are mere slaves of capitalism. In Athens for example, when they weren’t happy they used to go to Agora to claim their rights, now in São Paulo when we want to claim ours we die from a shot in our heads.

Analysing the history, we realize that now people aren’t the warriors that they used to be. They don’t have the same courage as the Spartans. Now we have to embody the Greeks and when we aren’t happy send the leader of the country to ostracism and install the real Helena Democracy. Alecsia Terra Carvalho - 1ªEM
